Arun Sahoo to attend Niti Aayog meet

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Agriculture Minister Arun Sahoo today left for Mumbai in order to take part in Niti Aayog meeting, ‘Transformation of Agriculture’ in place of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The meeting which happens to be the second meeting of the nine-member High Powered Committee of Chief Ministers on Transformation of Indian Agriculture will be chaired by Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.

As per reports, Sahoo will put forward various proposals for development of skills, income of farmers and agricultural productivity during the meeting. The meeting aims at reaching solutions regarding farmers’ income, storage facilities, entrepreneurship and market opportunities.
