Odisha Govt’s 5T Secy Visit malakanagiri To Review Mo Sarkar Programme

Malakangiri: State Government has put health Care system on “Top Priority” and asked the officials to maintain cleanliness in the hospitals and provide better health care facilities in these Institutions.“MO Sarkar” Initiative, which mainly targets Hospitals and Police Stations for providing Citizen Centric Services through these institutions are being reviewed by Top Mandarins.

Secretary to Chief Minister V K Pandian along with Principal Secretary Finance and Special Secretary Health & Family Welfare made a whirlwind tour to Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur Districts on 9 October.

This visit was mainly to take on the spot decisions required in the Health Care Sector and sort out issues, which requires financial decisions. Mr.Pandian was seen concerned for the patient’s well being and directly talked to them.While talking to the patients, he enquired about availability of “Free Medical Health Care” being provided by the State Government. Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) is the flagship program of the State Government is benefitting the poorest of the poor.

While cleanliness in the Malkangiri District Headquarters Hospital was appreciated by the High Level Team of Mandarins, who were happy to see the condition of the DHH Malkangiri, advised Management of Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College to take care of cleanliness. They also visited Nabarangpur District headquarters Hospitals. Team of Mandarins assured all sorts of financial support for providing cleanliness and better Health Care facilities.

During the meeting at SLN Medical College, it was decided to set up 500 Bedded Hospital to cater to the growing demand of the patients. Principal Secretary Finance Ashok Kumar Meena was equally supportive for the new proposal and Special Secretary Health & Family Welfare, Shalini Pandit echoed equal support for the SLN Medical College.
